PINEVILLE, Ky. – WestCare of Kentucky has been awarded a $1.36 million POWER (Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization) grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission.
The grant will be used to renovate a 24,000 square-foot building in Pike County into a facility for residential substance abuse treatment for women. Services at the facility will also include an emphasis on recovery-to-work support.
The project aligns with SOAR’s Regional Blueprint goal of building healthy communities.
