SWVA Kentucky plans to reopen Boyd County facility

The Ashland Daily Independent is reporting that a once idled rolling mill will reopen in the coming weeks.

SWVA Kentucky plans to reopen its Boyd County facility in Coalton and start producing steel in November.

About 40 employees will return to work once the facility reopens, and the company plans to have more than 60 employees once production is ramped up.
