SOAR Innovation expands to all 54 ARC Kentucky counties

Posted on 3 years ago

We are proud to announce that our Business and Innovation team now covers all 54 of Kentucky’s Appalachian counties.

SOAR Innovation is powered by KY Innovation. For more than three years, we have provided services to entrepreneurs and existing small businesses through the support of KY Innovation. The addition of the remaining Appalachian counties better aligns the work of our Business and Innovation team and with our other organizational strategies.

“We are pleased to bring our services to our western-most and northern-most counties,” said Joshua Ball, Chief Operating Officer of SOAR. “As Appalachia Kentucky’s think-tank, being able to align all of our services to all 54 counties is important. We look forward to serving entrepreneurs and small business owners with our direct services and the support of our resource partners.”

Counties included are:

  • Adair County
  • Casey County
  • Clark County
  • Clinton County
  • Cumberland County
  • Edmonson County
  • Green County
  • Hart County
  • Madison County
  • Metcalfe County
  • Monroe County
  • Russell County

Our work with entrepreneurs begins with a Complete Guide ebook. This download provides four practical steps to help bring clarity around your idea or your expansion. Following the download, a member of our team will connect with you for further discovery.

Aside from coaching and mentoring, clients can take advantage of Direct Services, such as:

  • Business planning support
  • Basic website design
  • Google Services
  • Digital Media

“Our goal is to support entrepreneurs and small businesses navigate the many opportunities Kentucky has to offer.4,” said Sabrina McWhorter, Manager of SOAR Innovation. “We work alongside businesses as they launch and scale, and with the addition of these new counties, we know we will uncover some incredible new businesses. The future is bright in Kentucky!”
