Pikeville Medical Center (PMC), a Presenting Partner of SOAR, has been selected as one of a few elite hospitals to implant the Watchman Device for patients suffering from Atrial Fibrillation (AFib).
Although the device is not for all AFib patients, but the device has been shown to be a reasonable alternative to blood thinners for patients who poorly tolerate them.
