Operation UNITE Shoot Hoops not Drugs basketball camp set to tip off

Operation UNITE has announces five free basketball camps for youth throughout eastern and southern Kentucky. “Shoot Hoops Not Drugs” will be held between June 11 and June 20.

Former University of Kentucky point-guard, Jarrod Polson will conduct these camps.

All school-age youth are invited to participate in the camps, to be held at the following dates and locations:

Tuesday, June 11 – Clay County High School, 415 Clay County High School Road, Manchester
Thursday, June 13 – Rowan County Middle School, 555 Viking Drive, Morehead
Monday, June 17 – West Perry Elementary School, 72 Miss Edna Lane, Hazard
Tuesday, June 18 – Rockcastle County Middle School, 945 West Main Street, Mt. Vernon
Thursday, June 20 – Whitley County High School, 350 Boulevard of Champions, Williamsburg

Each camp begins at 4 p.m. and concludes about 7 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early for registration. (There is no advance registration.)
