SOAR Blueprint Partner the Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation (KHIC) is celebrating 50 years of serving the people of eastern and southeastern Kentucky.  The Lexington Herald-Leader featured the work of KHIC Founder Robert Shaffer and the organization, which has helped or maintained 25,000 jobs, assisted more than 880 businesses, and helped businesses secure nearly $423 million in financing.
