Registration is open for the East Kentucky Leadership Conference. The conference will be held in Pikeville at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on April 28-29. 

The theme of this year’s conference is “Creating Destination Communities.”

“Everyone can exercise leadership by taking part in building a brighter future for our region,” said Peter Hille, chair of the East Kentucky Leadership Foundation Board. “The conference isn’t just for elected officials or recognized leaders, it’s for everyone. Any person aspiring to take on a leadership role in Eastern Kentucky is encouraged to attend.”

The East Kentucky Leadership Conference registration will include:

• An intensive session on New Federal Resources
• Concurrent Sessions on Places People Want to Live, Reimagining Eastern Kentucky Communities, Our Energy Future, and After Treatment: The Recovery Journey.
• The Eastern Kentucky Leadership Foundation’s Awards Banquet

Registration is $50.  Student registration is $25. This includes all programming, the awards banquet, and breakfast and lunch on Friday.
