Better internet and connectivity are in the works for rural Appalachia communities through the Appalachia Digital Equity Accelerator program.
The Accelerator was created through a $6.3 million Appalachian Regional Commission ARISE grant to Connect Humanity.
The project will invest in 50 of Appalachia’s least-connected communities to prepare them to access public and private funding to build next-generation broadband networks. We are proud to be partnering with Connect Humanity to serve communities selected in Kentucky for their Accelerator program.
That’s why we are partnering with Connect Humanity to host a FREE informational virtual webinar on Tuesday, March 7 at 10 a.m. This webinar is for local governments, community leaders, community organizations, and broadband providers interested in broadband deployment and expansion in Kentucky’s 54 Appalachian counties.
You can register HERE.
