Shaping Our Appalachian Region has launched registration for its annual Summit. It is set for October 16-18 in the city of Pikeville and is presented by Appalachian Wireless and the Appalachian Regional Commission.
Appalachia’s Premier event will have a new look as this year’s summit will leverage every asset Downtown Pikeville has to offer:
- The University of Pikeville
- The Appalachian Center for the Arts
- New Beginnings Fellowship Church
- And more
The Appalachian Wireless Arena will be transformed into the Summit Expo Hall, giving us the chance to host our largest Expo Hall in Summit history.
Two Registration Options
This year’s Summit will feature two registration options. Seating at this year’s Summit is limited. Lock in your seat now.
- General Admission ($150) | General Admission will provide access to all programming, along with access to receptions, meals, and entertainment.
- Blueprint Partner ($300) | The Blueprint Partner experience will feature exclusive benefits, including access to partner-exclusive programming, networking opportunities, pre-summit events, receptions, and other special events.
A portion of your Blueprint Partner registration will go to the Shaping Our Appalachian Region’s Blueprint Partner Program, which invests in events and programming throughout Kentucky’s Appalachian region each year.
New and Improved Expo Hall
The SOAR Summit Expo Hall for 2024 will be hosted exclusively at the Appalachian Wireless Arena. This year’s Summit promises dedicated time for attendees to explore the Expo Hall, offering ample opportunity to browse exhibits and engage in networking. The expanded space will accommodate interactive and hands-on exhibits, enriching the overall experience.

A New Summit Experience
The 2024 SOAR Summit promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees. It will celebrate Appalachia, Kentucky’s unique strengths and explore emerging economic opportunities. Set against the vibrant backdrop of downtown Pikeville, the Summit will feature live music echoing through the streets, arts and crafts exhibitions, cultural displays, and more.

Attendees can look forward to engaging in plenary sessions, workshops, panel discussions, roundtables, fireside chats, and TenTalk sessions, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive exploration of relevant issues and ideas.
