PMC to host Flood Relief Telethon on Aug. 3

Posted on 4 years ago

Pikeville Medical Center (PMC), a Presenting Partner of SOAR, and its PMC Foundation for Quality Healthcare will host a Flood Relief Telethon on Wednesday, August 3 on WYMT-TV and streamed on Facebook by the hospital and WSAZ Newschannel 3.

The Telethon will air from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. You don’t have to wait to donate during the telethon. Donations can be made online. All donations will go to flood victims in Eastern Kentucky.

As flood waters ravaged communities throughout Eastern Kentucky, PMC opened its doors to nursing home patients that were evacuated. Throughout its history, the hospital has stepped up during natural disasters to raise funds to support Eastern Kentucky families and communities.

PMC is also selling Team East Kentucky t-shirts. All proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to support flood victims. Want to learn more? Contact Lisa Estep at lisa.estep@pikevillehospital.org.
