Governor Beshear Announces Funding for Pineville Utility System Upgrades

Posted on 5 years ago

FRANKFORT, Ky.— Governor Andy Beshear announced a more than $2 million loan was approved for the City of Pineville for upgrades to their utility system.

The funding from the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority will go toward separating the existing storm and sanitary sewer systems in the area surrounding the courthouse downtown.

When the project is finished, thousands of feet of new sewer lines will be installed along with new curbs and sidewalks.
