East KY Trail Town Summit to be held in Morehead on July 19

The Eastern Kentucky Trail Town Summit will be held in Morehead on Tuesday, July 19. The FREE event will take place at the Morehead Conference Center from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The Summit will provide attendees with the platform to exchange ideas and best practices. You’ll also hear success stories from communities throughout Eastern Kentucky. 

Those scheduled to speak include:

  • Seth Wheat, Director of Interpretation and Engagement for Kentucky State Parks
  • Joy Brown, Morehead Trail Town Director
  • Peter H. Hackbert, Berea Trail Town Member

There will also be presentations from:

  • The Warriors Path
  • Backroads of Appalachia 
  • Bluegrass Mountain Cup and MTB Race Series
  • US Bike Route 21
