The East Kentucky Leadership Conference scheduled for April 23-24 2020 in Corbin, Kentucky has been cancelled due to the ongoing health crisis.

The East Kentucky Leadership Foundation Board of Directors recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic has created extraordinary circumstances and disruptions. We applaud the efforts of our community leaders and government officials who are rising to the occasion to ensure the safety of our people and the stability of our businesses, organizations and institutions. We encourage everyone to take the necessary steps to safeguard both themselves and others in the days and weeks ahead.

The conference is being rescheduled for April 22-23, 2021, and we are pleased to announce that Corbin will be the location for next year’s conference. We appreciate all the work that the Corbin Host Committee has done to date and their willingness to carry this work forward next year. This is a moment when leadership is more important than ever. The people of Eastern Kentucky have deep reserves of wisdom and experience that will help carry us all through this challenging time. We look forward to gathering together our region’s leaders at the conference next year, and in the meantime we know that the future of our communities is in good hands.
