What if speed dating, or conversations, was incorporated into a business pitch competition format? You know, a competition where ideas can be discussed without expectations or even a business plan.
Sounds a little different, and like a whole lot of fun!
Well, let’s have some fun… hear your idea and win some money!
That’s why we are hosting a Speed Pitch Competition for high school and college students on Tuesday, October 3 as part of the SOAR Summit, presented by Appalachian Wireless and the Appalachian Regional Commission, at the Corbin Arena.
Your Idea and Your Passion take Center Stage
At the Speed Pitch Competition, it is simple: a podium, a microphone, your idea, and two minutes to make your pitch. The competition will be held inside the Corbin Arena on the main stage.
We have 90 minutes scheduled and time flies when you are having fun. So, we encourage you to pre-register to make your pitch. You can do that here.
Oh, and the money.
We’ll be awarding $500 to the first-place pitch in two categories: high school and college/university.
Attend the Summit for free
