Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR) launched its Inspirational Speaker Series at Morehead State University on August 28, 2024.
Kyle Caudill, Founder and CEO of 4C Innovations, was the featured speaker. His story is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to drive innovation in Eastern Kentucky.
The Inspirational Speaker Series is provided through SOAR Innovation and funding is provided through a grant by the Appalachian Regional Commission’s POWER initiative. This funding allows for programming and services to aspiring entrepreneurs at educational institutions across the region. Aside from Morehead State University, SOAR’s program serves:
- Ashland Community and Technical College
- Hazard Community and Technical College
- Union Commonwealth University
- University of Pikeville
- Paintsville Independent Schools
Kyle’s journey
Kyle shared his journey of founding 4C Innovations, a tech solutions company that provides innovative, data-driven strategies to a wide range of industries. His path to success wasn’t without its challenges. Like many entrepreneurs, Kyle encountered obstacles early on, from limited resources to the difficulties of building a business in a region that has historically faced economic challenges.
