Shaping Our Appalachian Region and Code Kentucky are offering a free training program that prepares Eastern Kentucky residents for a career in tech. By learning computer coding languages, you may be able to earn a high-income wage while working remotely.
No previous coding experience is required, only a desire to learn and work hard.
- This is a free, six-month online class.
- You’ll learn to read and write computer coding language , including JavaScript, C# and/or Python.
- No previous coding experience is required.
- The program has a rolling admission, so you can apply at any time.
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be a resident of one of Kentucky’s 54 Appalachian counties
- You must possess a high school diploma
- You must have a strong interest and/or proven aptitude in technology.
After you submit an application, a Code Kentucky representative will reach out to confirm. If eligible, you will be required to complete online pre-work to secure your spot in the training.
