40 Graduate from Addiction Recovery Care Programs

Posted on 6 years ago

Ashland, KY. – Addiction Recovery Care in conjunction with Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program and Sullivan University hosted a graduation ceremony at the Paramount Arts Center on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

Forty graduates are moving on to the next chapter of their lives. Twenty-eight people graduated from the Peer Support Specialist Academy and 12 graduated from the Emerging Leaders Training Program.

Tim Robinson, Founder and CEO of Addiction Recovery Care, said that since October 2016, there have been eight classes graduate from the Peer Support Specialist Academy, with a total of 156 graduates.

Robinson said more than 85% of the 156 are now steadily employed. The ARC program has made significant impacts in generations that were previously facing Substance Abuse Disorder.

“We are changing future generations,” said Robinson. “God has said ‘time out,’ He’s stopping addiction from your kids and grandkids. And it’s working, since today for the first time we have a mother and a son both graduating.”
