SUMMARY:Vision2Venture 2023: Cultivating Entrepreneurship in the Classroom
DESCRIPTION:Vision2Venture 2023 is open to all 9-12 educators within the Shaping Our Appalachian Region counties of Kentucky who are interested in integrating entrepreneurial teaching and learning experiences into their classrooms. \nDuring this program\, participants will acquire the skills necessary to incorporate entrepreneurial concepts into their teaching methods. They will then apply this knowledge in their own classrooms\, collaborating with their students to create an innovative entrepreneurial “pitch.” \nThese pitches will be recorded and submitted to a panel of judges. The top three pitches will be awarded cash prizes to support the realization of their entrepreneurial visions. The workshop is scheduled for December 6\, 2023\, in Ashland\, Kentucky\, with the virtual “pitch” event set to take place on February 21\, 2024. \n\n\n\n\nDecember 6\, 2023\n9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. \nKEDC\n904 Rose Road\nAshland\, KY 41143 \nRegistration is $25 per individual.\nBreakfast and lunch are provided.
