It’s a wrap on the Country Music Highway Tribute Show
We joined tourism organizations from up and down the Country Music Highway for a three-part summer concert series in Paintsville, Whitesburg, and Prestonsburg. It was presented by Double Kwik.
Our vision was simple. To create an event that paid homage to the stars of the Highway with the up-and-coming talent working to get to Nashville and beyond. After all, there’s not an area on the planet that has produced more stars per square mile than the Country Music Highway.
Aside from the music, we raised more than $7,000 that was reinvested back into music and art education along the Country Music Highway.
Stay tuned for our 2024 dates and locations!

2022 Country Music Tribute Show, a hit
In March 2022, we launched the Country Music Highway Tribute Show as an addition to a Summit event in Ashland. The idea caught fire, and we knew we were on to something. That’s why we’ve officially added the Country Music Highway Tribute Show to SOAR’s annual events calendar. Check out the 2022 show from the Paramount Arts Center, featuring The Voice contestant Holly Forbes and Sarah McCoart, the great-niece of the late Loretta Lynn. There’s even an appearance by American Idol winner Noah Thompson.
Let’s make it official
