Sustaining Resource Base

The founding members of this committee will work to create an integrated resource stream from the private, public and philanthropic sectors, to support the permanent SOAR enterprise. It must be sufficient to attract world-class leadership in the national search for a founding SOAR executive director, to be named in the fall.

Jean R. Hale

Jean R. Hale, Chairman President and CEO, Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., Pikeville

Jean Hale has been with Community Trust for 43 years and has participated in the growth of the Corporation from $19 million in assets to $3.6 billion in assets. Ms. Hale assumed her current position as President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc. in 1999 and added the position of Chairman of the Board in 2005. She is also the Chairman of the Board of the Corporation’s two subsidiaries, Community Trust Bank, Inc. and Community Trust and Investment Company. During her tenure with the corporation, Ms. Hale has served in various capacities including President and CEO of the Company’s bank subsidiary.
